The ninth and final leg of the 2010 London2Paris Rowing Challenge begins at 06.00BST on Saturday 15th May. This leg is a straight race from Suresnes lock, near the Bois de Boulogne, to Pont d'Iena, next to the Eiffel Tower.

The leg is expected to last approximately one hour, so that the first boat is expected to arrive at the Eiffel Tower around 07.00BST. Come early for a ring-side seat!

The early start is dictated by the Parisian authorities, who effectively prohibit small craft from the river after 09.00BST. By that time, the cutters and support boats must be safely berthed at the Bassin d'Arsenal.
